I was in good health and still fairly young so I couldnt understand the failures. I was wondering why they didnt do that this time as they wouldve known the problems I had with the hycosy. With no luck, my GYN offered 5 cycles of Clomid, and then one with IUI. I have to wait the agonising 2 weeks now, but the nurse said that if it doesnt work this time, then next attempt will be done in theatre where they have better equipment to be able to get round it. I have been researching and i think I may have a posterior cervix. I realise now that this is prob the reason that I havent become pregnant so far although they havent said that in so many words. She said its not the ideal place, but it is further than it would normally get. So anyway, to reduce anymore trauma she decided to implant the sample inbetween the '2 doors' (those were her words). Implantation bleeding occurs later, usually 7-11 days after the procedure, when the egg implants in the wall of the uterus. This is due to irritation of the delicate tissue of the cervix and vagina, and is not implantation bleeding. I did have a feeling that there would be trouble because I couldnt have to hycosy test because of the same problem, so had to have a laparoscopy. Some women experience spotting immediately after an IUI procedure. The number drops significantly for women over the age of 40 who have a success rate of between two and five percent. If you’re 35 to 40 years old, you’re looking at a success rate of around 10 percent. Forgot to mention had my lap done in September had mild endometriosis which was removed and also had my right tube which was blocked which was also unblocked Like 1 Report this Advertisement. When it comes to IUI if you’re under the age of 35, you have a 10 to 20 percent chance of success with each attempt. She underwent every possible treatment like IUI. I have no idea whether that is normal or common. Just want to know some success stories girls. A 35 years old female came to me with the history of no periods without medication and Infertility of 10 years. I had 3 good sized follicles and DH's sample was good, but the nurse had trouble getting the catheter through my cervix, she said I have '2 doors' so to speak. I had my iui today, but came away slightly disappointed.
